Matt is a classically-trained pianist via the Suzuki method, and uses a combination of listening, performance, theory and practice training to enhance his students' abilities in all different styles of music.

 

Matt was an adjunct professor at Lehigh University from 2009-2011, conducting an 18-piece jazz ensemble and teaching jazz piano lessons. He guided the ensemble to four performances at the university and its first performances outside of campus.

 

Matt also advises other musicians on business best practices and in starting their own small businesses to acquire performance opportunities.
